You can always rely on the kindness of strangers!
To those of you who know me, hi. ^_^ To the visitors, wilkommen. A brief summary:
This is both a plea for generosity and a networking experiment. I need to come up with a lot of money in a short amount of time. That's where you come in.
I was recently accepted into the Study Abroad program at my University. I'll be going to Salzburg, Austria in the Fall. Help me advance my education! Any and all donations will go toward my passport, my plane ticket, and the money I have to front for the program itself, which is a hefty $40,000. I solemnly swear I won't blow it on Avatar: The Last Airbender DVDs.
How it works:
The term is "pay it forward." You donate $5 or so to Sam, and when the time comes, Sam will pay it forward to another underprivileged individual and make their dreams come true. A few people, including my mother (thanks!), have already donated to the cause. Keep it going! Link this site in an email to your contacts, for example. I'm aware that forwarded emails are messy and annoying, but just bear with me and help me out.
I know you all sincerely want to financially assist me in my European ventures to become culturally enriched n' stuff. You can click the button to donate. I would be more than thrilled with a donation from $1 to $5, as it is the suggested amount (of course I wouldn't complain if you donated more.)
